Seems our advertising campaign is paying off. We understand that a certain administrator addressed a roll call on Monday, and saw one of our business cards lying on a table in the roll call room. We wonder if that person has gotten an eyeful in the last two days (there's a good four months worth of reading, minus our time off), and if the collective voice of the PCOs has been heard and heeded.

I was under the impression that mj was the queen of zone1 on midnites.

you must be new to the zone.
mj does a great job on zone1...she may dispatch people using first names instead of beat numbers, but hey...at least you can understand when she's talking...and she doesn't fall asleep on the zone...can't say that for who they put her with.

One of the people there with her a LOT can and has fallen asleep standing up! Now that is pathetic...
ummmmmmmm...THAT person even fell asleep during a SIMULCAST while working Zone 10 !!! Seriously!
ummmm...1st names instead of beat numbers....has NOTHING to do with the fact that she drinks, a LOT , with them! Just a coincidence she moved into apt walking distance from da bars??????? Very unprofessional using names!

I've worked with that person numerous times and never once was the person 'under the influence".
Jealous the person might go out and have half a social life??
Making accusations like that can jeapordize someone's career. Look in the mirror at yourself and your family before throwing boulders like that.
I agree. I have worked with that person on many occasions. I don't agree with the name using but they have NEVER been under the influence while at work. Yes, there are others I suspect are, but not the one talked about here. .....and MOST IMPORTANTLY she is awake all night long.
MJ recognizes the officers voices which in an emergency may save someones life. In addition she knows where ever street is in the zone. She does more for the beat guys then just about any other dispatcher I have heard in 24 years. She has my respect. I know of at least one time that her familiarity may have saved an officers life. Aint no one perfect but since they went to civilian dispatchers instead of sworn she is one of the best
Mige...you do an excellent job EVERY NIGHT on Zone 1. Probably the one complaining is one of the dog-asses that they partner you with on occasion..you know, the ones that you have to carry all night while they sleep. Keep doing what you do because you have lots of friends that support you.
