Big screen TV

The 2 giant screens in the room on the fire side have not been operational in , let's see. ummmm , about 5 - 7 years! Only comments I ever heard was that a 'bulb' was out & it was very very expensive to replace! But wait...........what anonymous generous donor mysteriously gave us a new bulb or whatever part was needed to make those 2 GIANT , ENORMOUS, MONSTEROUS screens work again just in time for SUPER BOWL SUNDAY?
We don't know. But we thank him/her/them. We just hope the TVs won't get turned off for another four years right after the Super Bowl.
And speaking of TVs, if they can turn on the 1,000+ inch TV screens again over there, can someone replace that 12 year old TV in the break room that finally stopped working two days ago?

They just got the requisition approved to buy the batteries for the remote!
Maybe they'll replace ALL the TV's with nice wide screen HD LCD TV's ! LOL Yeah right!
They can't even replace the microwaves in a timely manner when they break! The old one in the vendateria I'm afraid to use, because it's probably leaking radiation from it. And the "new" one already has a loose handle on it!!
ho hum......Super Bowl Sunday happens to fall on the 1st Sunday of the month , which is our only dress down day each month. But watch out... only authorized OEMC teeshirts allowed.......no BEARS wear of anykind! The JOC , OC , and whatever else they choose to call THAT ROOM for all the departmental geniuses to gather, will be busy Sunday for sure , and I would make big buck bets that many of THOSE CHOSEN FOLKS will be wearing the orange and blue!
Of course they will!
don't forget watching tv on one of the 6 50" plasmas scattered around the room
