Red alert? Orange alert? Why didn't we know?
The media is better about reporting danger to us than our job is.
It is amazing that we had to find out from media outlets that the United States has raised the terror level to orange at the airports in light of terrorist arrests in the UK. And to red for all international flights.
As has been the case for the last 11 years, we find out about dangers that would drastically affect the lives of citizens, police, firefighters, paramedics, us...through the media when it's too late if something had happened. And that's if we're formally notified at all. Guess we better keep watching CLTV to stay abreast of what citizens might call about, or take the expressway to work every day so we can catch pertinent news on a banner board.
Looks like the big picture that the little people aren't seeing is that the little people don't matter.

If you think you are ill informed come join the ranks of district law enforcement. The CO book is a joke. You come in to start your shift and nothing is said or given to you about anything that happened in the last 2 watches. Whose wanted, cars wanted, crimes committed, possible patterns, what happened in your bordering districts. With all these computers you would think someone could come up with up to date 24 hour wants lists for cars/offenders for every district and it's borders.
TERRORISM??? THEY SHOWED US A VIDEO AND SENT US TO TARA TRAINING. HAHAHAH! Like you said, more info from the media!!!

Answer: All the political creatures were too busy trying to save themselves first.
Their attitude is "screw everyone at OEMC and on the streets" Especially Cortez Trotter! He was likely under a rock somewhere shitting in his pants instead of doing what he was hired to do. This is the same reason he was booted from the CFD!
Don't beleive king richie's statement about there not being a threat to this city. Truth is, no one anywhere knows if we are targeted or not.
The alerts sent out pertained to DOA Dept of Aviation, regarding incoming and outgoing flights, now unless you stump for the airlines on your off time... Read the paper, listern to a news once in a while they're not always right...but
