Does anyone know when the city will actually be hiring new call takers and/or dispatchers?
I hear they still have a list they are going on from last year and they had a post on the city website last May I think it was, any word on a new list or when this one will be exhausted?

Jeeez, you have to take a test to be a dispatcher? One would never know it by the way some butcher the english language.
