great job cpd, maybe we should of gave him another 24 hours. are swat just there to look pretty?? they should have breached the apartment a few hours after the idiot was not responding, and maybe that girl could have been saved. its a shame, if we keep letting this criminals know we are not going to do anything this will keep happening. over 24 hours...unexceptable
Being that I wasn't there I'm not going bash cpd. I feel for the negiotiator, must have been alot worse in real life, than listening to it in piece meal over the air.
The only unexceptable actions that I could gather, was a madman broke into an innocent persons home, starting shooting at the family, took hostages and killed them too. That was unexceptable behavior.
Calltakers and Dispatchers at OEMC should be given some sort of training (yeah, i know, i'm dreaming...) in handling HBT incidents from our end of things. Suburban departments do it.
