Cleaning crew layoffs?
In comments sections over at Lets Talk Chi Town 911, there are talks of cleaning crew people being laid off. Rumor is that five have been laid off already, that at times there are only two cleaning people working.
Any truth to this? We surely hope not. Because if there is, then the cleanliness of this building full of adults, who obviously don't know how to clean up after themselves as adults should, is going to get as low as the morale.

TRUE TRUE TRUE. On days, it's an everyday occurrence to run out of paper towels in the kitchen and the bathrooms , before 8 or 9 am. And toilet paper......let's see , the womem have 3 stalls, 2 rolls per stall, should have 6 rolls! Not uncommon to have 2 or less by 9 am! This layoff made a lot of sense.........but at least the ones they kept (with the new contracted company) have brand new uniform shirts! Maybe the others that were let go , now are employed at the Mayor's house ....or better yet.......cleaning up Troutman's property!
Maybe someone asked the workers to provide proof of citizenship. With the federal primaries kicking off it wouldn't look very good for Obama if one of his powerful supporters was one of the biggest employers of illegal aliens.
How about cutting those city building engineers. They are totally useless. Privatize these city services.

New cleaning crew at the academy today! There were about 15 new employees and NONE OF THEM SPOKE ENGLISH!
