Good going

Congratulations are in order. Per the Illinois Labor Board, Supervising PCOs are now unionized and represented by the Teamsters as of today.

Any chance that we can switch to a union that'll actually benefit us more than IBEW "works" to?

Incorrect. It is under appeal, but we can hope.

Talked to the same teamsters about taking us too...

The Teamsters split away from the AFL-CIO and formed a new coalition with several other big unions. The IBEW is still in the AFL-CIO.

There is an agreement that NON AFL-CIO unions can not take members away from AFL-CIO unions unless they go with out a union for a year first.

Any other ideas???

Bullshit. The unions can have an "agreement", but it is not binding on the Illinois Labor Relations Board. Fire up the petitions. Let's get this train rolling!

Who gives a crap about the supervisors. They do not give a crap about us. Fuck them.

Off-topic. Is it true that MK is bye-bye? If it is, hallelujah and praise the Almighty! There is divine providence at work here because I got my three prayers answered. A new Deputy Director, a new Executive Director, and MK walking out the door! Thank you!
