Suspensions

There haven't been mass suspensions handed down in quite some time. Within recent years, we've gone the whole summer (Read: Peak Call Volume Period) with almost no suspensions handed down. We doubt that anyone employed at OEMC for the whole of the last 3 years has forgetten these occurrences:

  • Slim-to-no chances of receiving suspension days during the summer while call volume is at its highest and we're "needed" the most.

  • Almost more suspension notices to hand out than floor supervisors could get around to amidst their other duties, once the "peak period" has ended.

  • Extremely heavy-handed disciplinary action that all but did away with the "progressive discipline" concept.

  • Suspensions for incidents that the involved were never formally notified they were under investigation for.

  • As the summer winds down, we don't know if there's a barrage of CIs and/or suspensions in our near future, and this isn't a supposition that they are. But based on "past practice," we'll see one way or another before we believe one way or another.

of course there will be a ton of suspensions handed out once the summers high call volume starts to decrease , its the OEMC way. With all the suspensions will come more mandatory overtime ,less or no time due, with will mean more sickk days taken, with will mean more suspensions, with will mean more overtime.....you get the idea

Funny how discipline slowed down after the Director received a to-from regarding a "medical abuse pattern" that turned out the employee had a miscarriage and about 100 medical days on the books. The to-from requested an investigation into the dereliction of duty of M for handing out discipline without an investigation of the facts.

Who could 3:09pm be??? I mean, since you're going to make assumptions and all about other people.........
Seems like you might be one of management's RATS.
You should really seek counseling for all the HOSTILITY that you show towards your fellow employees. Aren't you the same one complaining in an earlier post that you are sick of all of us?

It seems like you accuse without checking facts, just like M. She was on the zone at 9:27!!!!!!!

Anyone notice how 8:12 in her post said "your fellow ops floor employees"? She didn't include herself. Curious.
Not to mention she didn't refute any previous facts. The assumption she made was who made a previous post. That was refuted to her because the individual she accused was working the floor when it was posted.
I am going to make a guess: 3:09 & 8:12 work days in an administrative capacity, due to the times postings were made and the verbage used.

    9:25am..

I agree with you completely on that. Let's prepare for the inevitable flamed response that you will receive from them. Probably going to accuse people of posting on-duty, etc.

It would appear that when you choose a blogger identity such as the blue anonymous did, that you can amend your posts. It did not previously read "tell us all, your fellow..." Either that or some other shenanigans.

Also, from my understanding of the incident, she was one of many that were reprimanded for a medical abuse pattern. A reprimand is discipline and is noted in your employee files.

Now, you should apologize for accusing that person of posting when the facts show that she was working the floor when it was posted. I have put up. Now it is your turn.

Lastly, your attitude is quite condescending. You have shown nothing in these posts to prove that you have any intellectual capacity whatsoever, but you act as if you are above the rest of us anyway. It is possible that you are educated, but yor attitude and name-calling have been extremely petty and childish. Would you like to admit that you are M or are you just one of her sniveling sycophants?

but that's cool because it keeps you from looking around the floor for me.

Naaah....we'd just look up management's ass to find you.
